I am a noob at oc'ing. At 174x12.5, my 2500+ "seems" much faster than at 200x11. Can anyone tell me why that is? I thought the higher fsb should make it faster at 200x11. The benchmark program I am using says that 200x11 is faster but things pop up faster and the computer boots faster at 174x12.5.

Check your CPU/Mem ratio and make sure it's 1:1. You will lose performance by running your CPU and memory out of sync. Also, if you are running 1:1, did you have to loosen your timings to get a higher FSB? Tighter timings can boost performance just as much as a higher FSB.
