Updateing firmware on a lite on lvr 401225s

Does anyone know why when i try to launch the updater it says i dont have the drive?Yet it lists the drives that i do have and it shows up there letter for letter irs the drive i have but says the update isnt desighnted for the drive?

After trying to change my LiteOn LTR-40125S to LTR-48125W with the instructions of http://www.tweakhardware.com/guide/lite-on40125s/page5.asp it all went bad. The drive is not in the bios and the back up was couropted. I waited and everything to till it said please reboot and all. Is there any thing i can do and i mean anything HELP plz!!!
