anyone use Dolphin Pond/Tank Master Series pump?

Im new here thx in advance for the welcome anyway, back to my question, i just found out this shop (list below) which is like 5 miles away from my house, so 2morrow or Sat i'll drive out there and check out all the pumps that they have. I was looking at these pumps and wonder if they're any good? anyone in here use them or have any experience with it?

It will be used with a Dtek WhiteWater to cool my P4, plus a NB block ( GPU block soon). The rad is the 85 Buick heatercore....it's pretty big

I cant remember where exactly I read it but I heard the Dolphin pumps were pretty damn loud compared to other pumps used in watercooling. The Eheim 1250 that Marine Depot carries is probably one of the widest used pumps for watercooling. Then there are other brands of pumps that work very well but Marine Depot doesnt carry them.

Go with the danner mag 3 offered by that same place. Great pump.

I have had one sitting around here for quite a few months, I havent gotten a chance to use it. I did pop it in the sink and noticed it was slightly louder, but hardly noticeable. but I would definately go with a danner mag 3

Here is another one for Danner. Same two pumps have not let me down in the last two years, parts are relatively easy to come by and my first (eheim) pump lasted all of one day before breaking its' impeller. Too much trouble getting another and found out that Eheim requires prepayment from stores prior to shipping explaining the difficulty in getting parts. A lot of stores refuse to do this.

I tested a Dolphin pump out: great performance right on par with an Eheim 1250- but it was LOUD compared to the rest of the system.
Including two Comair Rotron 172mm fans at 12 volts.

With the Eheim 1250 I currently have in here I can here psu fans, my hard drive and my exhaust fans but NOT the pump.

Don't get a Dolphin.
