MBM5 shutdown problems

When I try to select the boxes the shut down the PC when a fan or temp reaches a certain point, nothing happens - I can't put a check in it. Is there some option I've missed that will allow me to choose this shutdown option?

Did you try getting shutdownnow or SHDN for it?
