-also does anyone know a good 17" or 19" CRT moniter thats under 150$$

i dont know much about that motherboard. but i would go with nf7-s or 8rda+.

raidmax's cases are cheap and flimsy but if this is budget...

9800s are currently the highest priced but not the best for performance:price. id go with liek a 9500 or a ti4600 if you really need something that big. your call on that

sparkle is excellent
2500+ is excellent usually

id get 512mb ram. my personal preference

your hd is good

for fans and accessoreis id shop at svc.com. if you are shopping this stuff at newegg im assuming they rip you off on single small items (like fans).

just my opinion

If you don't need the extras, just go with the NF7. I am happy with mine.

If you're not going to overclock, go with 512MB of PC2700. I think it's cheaper, and it gets you more memory.

Is the Fortron 350watt PSU cheaper than the one you're getting?

Is there an 4x AGP version of the video card you're getting? There isn't a noticable performance difference between 4x AGP and 8x.

i doutb theres a 9800 4x. btu anyways a fortron and a sparkle are identical. (same manufacturer) and fortrons are cheaper. so id look into that.

heres my updated computer....

1)- does the motherbaord look better??
2)-will i lose any performence from a 9800 with the 9500??
3)-is this a big enough power supply or do i need a 480??
4)-is this a good processor for gaming??
5)-will i lose any performence going with thePC2700??
6)-do you know a better 17" or 19" for under $115??

thank you for all the feed back!!!!

i dont believe there is anything wrong with enermax. They have a large amount of current available on the 12v rail which is perfectly suited for the nf7's. My enermax 365w has no problems powering the system in my sig.

ditch the corsair ram and go for 2x256mb twinmos pc3200. its very cheap and fast - mine does 230mhz+ no problem.

i'd get an ATI 9600pro rather than the 9500np.

As for the case, well do you really need it? the nf7-s has onboard lan and 5.1 sound (which is definatly better than what comes with that case)

the rest seems fine to me.
