Newegg. Unless you like only having 2 or 3 different ram options or you're a Kingston/Corsair fanboy.

I like Newegg's layout better too. It's much easier to find stuff when you go to Browse by category. You also have a better search engine on Newegg's site.

They both have great customer service though and I've ordered from both.

exactly, they are both the same but newegg's layout is better, the service is just as good and prices are comparable. you cannot lose if you are getting a product from either company

For RAM and Harddrives Googlegear is king in my book. For CPU's, Video Cards, Motherboards, and refurbs Newegg is king. They both have fast 2 day shipping and prices are top notch at both sites.

Personally i like newegg, fast shipping and every time i have to call customer service they pick up before the introductory recording finishes.

They are not the same at all if you dont use a CCard to buy merchandise:I almost never and I mean never put my CCard numbers out on line:I choose to pay with a Postal Money Order, go and try to send one of those to GGear and see what happens. They treat it like its a personal check and hold it for 5-7yes5- 7 business days so it can clear.Clear what its a Postal Money Order(he says) never understood there business terminology on that one.So I dont buy anything from them anymore.Just a side note I live 10 miles from GGear so you know it would be much faster to buy from them for me:I choose Newegg!!!!

I like newegg better mainly for the fast shipping. When I order from newegg I get it in 2 days , googlegear in 5-6 days.

Either is great if you think you will never have to return the item. If you think you might have to RMA something NewEgg is the winner.

I find the prices to be a bit better at Googlegear, at least for what I wanted at the time. Some thing's are a bit more or a bit less at both places. I do buy from both and I like them equally. You have to do your research and comparison shopping on anything to find your best deal. It pay's to do so.

Same here

As far as pricing and shipping, I got my HyperX RAM from googlegear and it shipped quickly (3 days, same as newegg) and was $1--yes $1--cheaper than newegg. I think which site is better depends entirely on the deal you're getting. I have had excellent experiences with both sites, although I have bought many many more things from newegg than GGear.

Both are very good . Both have their good/bad points .
Newegg is SUPER fast on shipping for me , sometimes receive stuff in 12hrs or less (I live 20 miles away) .
Googlegear shipping takes longer , but has better prices at times and less shipping costs with multiple items .
Eitherway BOTH places have been good to me over many years of ordering .

If speedy shipping is a must I got with googlegear (ship to northern cali). I can usually get my 2 day shipments next day. Most of the time a day doesnt matter, so I go with the one that's cheaper.

I have bought close to $2500 with newegg over the past 18 months. I have never had a problem with them. I will USUALLY not deal with anyone else. Online buying is top notch along with their web site.
