Sobig F on the rise

Just to make sure you guys know, a new variant of Sobig is on the way... most of Denmark has been hit very bad, as most AV producers cannot yet produce a dat update for anti-virus programs.

EDIT: You'll survive it if your mail blocks attachments of type PIF and SCR... typically, most people tend to rely on virus killing alone, not content block..

Doesn't Outlook block those by default ?

depends a lot on how you have your things set up.. which versions, which service packs etc. etc.

Better check if I were you, I've been blowing fresh air on our exchange server all day to keep the system cool.. LOL.. our quarantine folder literally exploded past noon heré...

None of my boxen affected though.... we have enough bandwidth.
