There is no certain temp to really expect as all boards have pretty unreliable temp sensors. Abit's tend to report higher than most boards, doesn't make them wrong, just different. 37C seems fine to me, are you stable?

well of course im stable, im @ default vcore and speed. But these are the DLT3C chips which are hotter than the regular tbred chips.

i would say at load 37 sounds about right also and the nf7 boards unfortunately arnt he best for temp sensors.

The DLTC3 are the low voltage CPU's, 1.5V as opposed to the 1.65V DUTC3. Not sure it is hotter.

yes, i know the vcore and that the DLT3C use less vcore. But they produce more amperage or heat for some reason i forgot. I knew the reason a long time ago but now i forgot.

edit: these are the "hot chips", the ones that oc to around 2.5ghz most of the time and are also "hot" in temperature.

What BIOS version are you using on the Abit? If you are not using the newest do so, the onboard temp sensors have been corrected with the new BOIS. Mine used to be 10 deg above what my display probe was readying, now they are always withing .5 degs of each other. And depending on your ambient temp, I would say you have a prob somewhere. I am running a 1700 @ 200x12 with vcore at 1.95 and my load temp is 37 deg the ambient temp is 26 deg in my computer room.

edit: BTW the 1700 I have is the DUT3C

ssgohan434, glad to see you finely made use of the TC-4. The block served me well when I had it. I had dimpled the center channel over the die. If I remember I shipped it to you with the coiled springs. I had made a top with three holes, the center hole had a sprayer over the die with the two outside barbs being the returning water. One of the forums members did the anodizing on the top, but the anodizing was not sealed by boiling the top in water and the anodizing wore off from the extreme water flow. Don't place much in the temps of what your board is reporting to you. The true test is how far you can O/C and still be stable. The TC-4 is a good block to get your feet wet.....

you don't have much airflow over the radiator either. You might wanna think about getting a nice 120mm fan.

I trust my nf7's temps as much as I trust a man with a gun to my head. If its stable its fine thats the bottom line.

its true the NF7-S temp readings are very inaccurate. My temps will change on different boot ups (ie, 1st time i boot up i get 39C Idle, 44 Load, then if i reboot i get 34C idle, 39 Load). i just home from work and swtiched on my pc and my system temp is showing 23C and cpu 21C???
