Good AMD overclocking board?

i was goin to buyt a new mb and i have decided that i want to try overclocking with my current processor (XP 2000) and i would like someone to help me decide which mb to get seeing as i am new to overclocking i could use some help deciding i can't spend to much on it seeing as i only have a part time job and am in school i was thinkin about at the most a $100 board

I'm new to overclocking too. I'm looking at buying the M7NCD since it's low price and I've read good things about it on this forum. Newegg has it on sale until the end of Aug for $57.

It looks like a good board to learn OCing on. I just hope it's not one of those "too good to be true" deals.

Well there is the Abit NF7-s for $111.00 and that is probly one of the best boards avable for OCing, there is also a NF7-M for $108.00, the m has on board viedo but the s dosent and there is also a NF7 for $88.00. the one with onboard video costs less??
and it comes with onboard video AND a 4x/8x agp slot... weird.

NF7S is the way to go if you want the best OCing board

Why wouldn't you go with the M7NCD? It has 400MHz FSB and the NF7S only has 333FSB. Plus, the M7NCD is half the price!

So far nobody has answered my question. Why wouldn't I want to go with the M7NCD? It has 400MHz FSB and costs only $57. It looks like a great board to start OCing on.

Because its probably very cheap, you get what you pay for. Get either an Epox 8rda+ for like $20 more or an nf7 for $30 more.

its 57 after rebate.. i dont like rebates.. and the 8rda is a good cheap board in teh 70s.. go with that

Thanks for your input. I did more research and I think I'll go with the 8rda+. The extra $20 is worth it to have the knowledge base from you experienced users!
