I have an asus p4b533-e m/b and i would like some help with o/c a p4 2.4 400mhz fsb chip ...there seems to be a problem with the agp/pci frequency ..
It allows you to set it manually to 66/33 but when you then bring up the cpu frequency it also drags the agp/pci frequencies up with it causing the board to hang ...Also the cpu/agp frequency ratios work back to front??????.
Q .. should i be using a 533mhz fsb chip on this board ???? or has anyone successfully pushed a 2.4 400mhz chip past my measley 2.7 o/c.
Any help would be appreciated ..before i bin the board for a cheaper model (p4s8x-x) cos i know they work a treat.
