slow internet conection

I setup an internet conection with kppp but it connects and runs very slow 0.2 kbps it goes so slow that it wont even load the web page but it works when i use ms windows i used to have it working with linux but i reinstalled and it does not seem to be setup properly i don't know what i did is there any thing i can do.

Have you checked the speed under kppp setup? I normally set my 56k to 115 and it is much quicker under linux than M$

Yeah i tryed that but it doesn't work maby something in the kernel
that i need to enable/dissable can sombody tell me what needs to be for ppp networking
