Game recommendations

Well it has been a long time since I played a video game, about a year. What games do you recommend. I like games with good storylines or a non realistic FPS (ones where you can get shot many times before dying).

non realistic FPS and shot many times before dying=Serious Sam

Sure it's been around a while, but a great game is still a great game.

Jedi Knight 2 is fun fun if you haven't played it yet. Prolly cheap at this point too!

Neverwinter Nights has a pretty good story line. You might give that a try. It should be fairly cheap now that the expansion is out.

cheap?? that's a laugh, lol...

heh, just a few months ago I saw it at best buy with a sticker that said "New low price!" and it was selling for 39.95!!! A $10 price break for a game that's been out that long is sad.....that game should be $30 by now, heh.

But don't get me wrong, it's an EXCELLENT game.

Good games that are worth whatever they're being sold for:

Max Payne
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Splinter Cell
Battlefield 1942 (and mods including Desert Combat)

Soon to be on-the-shelves games that SHOULD be good (if not, playable):
Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy
XIII (as in the roman numeral 13)
Tron 2.0 (in stores now, but reviews are mixed)

anyway, i'm sure the suggestions will come pouring in in a few hours, heh.

Max Payne is a great game (storyline, cut scenes, and crazy ass shootouts). and it's less than 20 bucks plus there is that excellent Matrix Mod for it

In fact im going to load it up right now. lol

Non-realistic FPS: Battlefield 1942.

Seriously, it's great for getting the mods that are coming out. Desert Combat's going strong, the Star Wars mod has nowhere to go but up and the Pirate mod's kinda fun.
