VGA waterblock, Will it fit?

Im going to get my friend a vga block for his birthday, but I was wondering if these will fit his 9000pro. It has standard holes.

At dangerden I was looking at the gf2/3 waterblock, but I dont think it will fit. Dont want to spend more than $35.

I also dont want to have to epoxy these on, as when he gets a new card in the future, that one will go into his 2nd, non-watercooled pc.

EDIT: I also saw that in the misc section of dangerden they have waterblock hold downs, would they work with the $27 blocks?

if it has standard holes, why not just get a swiftech MCW50, or MCW40?

I used one of those old style DD Geforce 2/3 blocks on my Radeon 9700 Pro; it has standard holes I believe (I previously used it on a Geforce 3) but I did apply a slightly thicker layer of thermal compound to make sure there was contact, due to the shim that comes on these new Radeons. I don't know if there is any such shim on the card you mention.

No idea what the temps of the GPUs were but seemed to be working stable.

As an aside, does anyone know how big a difference there is between the old blocks and the new in terms of performance?
