Can't Get Bios To Post On My Monitor

I can't get the bios to post and i dont know why. I have cleared the cmos and still do not know what is wrong. I need suggestions as of what to try to fix this or what might be wrong.

what happens exactly? does it turn on and then hang or does it not turn on at all?

Everything will turn on on the mobo but the bios does not appear on he monitor.

Well, that is what you get for putting your computer together with Terry and Donnie. j/k If I am ever over there on that side of town I will come by and take a look at it.

I had that problem with an Asus P4P800 that I put together last weekend. Turned out the ram was incompatible. I switched it out and it booted right up. You might want to check that since Simpletech isn't on the top of most compatibility lists.

I had this same problem a while ago when I first started putting my current rig together.
Everything spooled up, but nothing appears on the monitor...

What ended up being my problem was my mobo, I had to get another one.

However, I'm sure you've already done this, but try reseating your vid card.
