I was wondering if I should expect my cpu temp to go down any after first installing a new amd athlon xp retail cpu. I'm using the phase change material that's on the retail heatsink. Is it similar to what some thermal greases are said to do, in that during a burn in period the cpu temp may drop? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
