Hi,

I have noticed that some of the power connectors of my PSU have started to malfunction. Like the HDD doesn't spin up on a certain connector; you change the connector and everything works fine. OS and other stuff also run OK, no hiccups.

Is this an indicator that the PSU is getting weaker and cannot take load on all molex connectors?

Is it possible to repair diagnose and repair this sort of problem easily?

just sounds like maybe some loose connections within the connector itself, not lack of power from the PSU or maybe dirty connectors?

i think you would have a problem with instability if your psu was dying. you can use a voltmeter (sp?) from Radio shack to measure the power form the connectors.
