Damn, I remember at school having to use Altavista and Lycos as a search engine on the web for lack of Google existing.

Happy Birthday google :)

/mad singing skillz

Happy birthday to you
happy birthday to you
happy birthday dear goooooogllle.....
Happy birthday to you!

AAAND MAANY MOOOORE!!!!

:D

google may be free to us, however the guys at the top of the searches are the ones who pay.......dearly.

It's a little underhanded really.......the more you pay, the higher you are ranked when popped by a search word/phrase.

And not even mentioning the little spy bit they've been doing....tracking what your searching...not sure if it was by IP or not...hmmm I still use em...just that they don't delete the access logs...dunno if google-watch lies or not but hey I use em....not that I do anything bad its just that I don't like to be spied on *paranoid* D:

It was tough only having altavista, lycos and yahoo in 1996...

"when I was in college, we had to use 3 search engines to find our prOn... and it was spelled PORN back then too, go figure..."

No, not talking about AOHell the program.

I'm talking about the websearch they had on their website! o_o;

I used it all the time, no matter the computer I was on no matter the ISP.. o_o;
