problem with 3dmark?


ive run 3dmark many times, but just recently, i re-installed it, and tried to run it but it gets about halfway through, and either freezes or restarts my computer. im o'cing my cpu and gpu but i have NO artifacts whatsoever.... not one dot is out of place

has anyone else experienced problems with it recently / have any ideas for me?

CPU instability usually doesn't manifest itself in artifacts; instead, it usually results in crashes/restarts (in my experience, restarts usually happen when you're not pumping enough vcore)

So try clocking your CPU to stock, cooling it better and/or giving it more vcore. Also make sure the CPU's the problem; try clocking the GPU to stock and see if the problems persist. Restarts usually don't happen because of video card instability, though, so I'm thinking it's your CPU.

Also, many times video cards crash before they artifact. Lack of artifacts is not the best indication of stability, although it usually is true when overclocking the mem.
