What current devices do support usb2.0 speeds?
I have an intel pc camera (it's a 2001 model)... Can I increase its speed with my a7n8x usb2 port? Some fast scenes (waving my hand fastly, for instance) are in slow motion.

Thanks.

If it's a USB1.1 device, it will only run at USB1.1 speeds. If it's not a "camera" as in portable taking pictures at high-res, it's not USB2. Most digital cameras are still USB1.1 anyway.

Ops, it's a webcam I have, not a camera. Can I increase the framerate using an usb2.0 port? Some scenes appear to be in slow motion.

It has to support USB2.0, if it does than you should be able to do so if possible via packaged software or downloadable software.. I doubt there is anyother reasonable way.

I don't know of any webcams that support USB2. You might be able to find a firewire one, though.

Plugging it into a USB2 slot won't speed it up, since the port will just act like a 1.1 port.

There is a usb2 webcam made by orangemicro. You can find it on newegg as well as its cousin, a firewire model. They look like eyeballs. :)

Is the image quality any better, or is it just on a faster bus? Also, keep in mind that a device can be "USB2 compliant" without actually working at USB2 speeds, so make sure it actually runs at USB2 speeds, or you're just getting ripped off by marketing people.
