Moving to Forum Feedback.
Maybe if you explained how you tried to post the pic and who your host is then someone can help you figure how to straighten things out.

after some effort, I can see it. The host you are using doesn't allow direct links to pics, you have to visit the website in order to view the pic.

You'll need a different host or ask Oni, myself, or several of the other member who offer hosting for members to host it for ya.

could you sugest a host that is free and supports direct picture linking?
For some reason the picture shows up for me.

It started out in cooling, which might make sense if he was trying to post a cooling related pic but as he was just trying to dope out the fine points of putting pics on the forum in general then I felt the best places was Forum Feedback, so everyone can give him feedback on how to put pics up on the forum.

Thank you everybody, the picture does not really show anything specific, just a big mess on my table. I found out how to post pictures, my goal is acomplished. Moderators can now delete this post i guess.

Nah, this thread's a keeper. Providing information about how to overclock is what this place exists for. Providing information on how to provide information is part of that. Now everyone who sees this will know to bug Maxvla for hosting pics.

Borisw37, nah, as eobard said, its a keeper! the whole first 3 months on the forums i could not figure out how to post pics, and when i learned how to use the img tags i couldnt figure out why geocities hosted images wouldnt work, i could have benefited from this thread, so im sure alot of other newer members will benefit from it as well. i say we keep it.

Just wasnt sure why it was in forum comments and suggestions, i maybe thought it should have gone in whereever digicam discussion is, but i didnt realize how this thread is more about how to get pics on the forum.

Congrats! on your first pic! you did it much faster than I did!
