Open Mosix and Apt?

Does anyone know if mosix is available from any apt sources? I keep trying to install it on RH9 and I get nowhere. For example I installed RH9 in workstation mode, then I downloaded the open mosix rpm that matches my kernel - do a rpm -ivh, then reboot and select the open mosix kernel. Gives me a kernel panic every time. Is there some relatively fool proof way to install it?

Dual-boot with something like ClusterKnoppix (I think that's installable to hdd?) See what's what in that kernel and maybe it will help, and you can just boot into it if you can't get the mosix going on your redhat install.

Turned out to be a serial ata problem with the mosix kernel.
