that was about 3000 feet back from my house off to the right a bit where they were doing some logging, good thing I've still got alot of land with trees on it and as you can tell I shot it with my camera and nothing else it was about 100ft away from me.

It took me a while to find it. It appears you live in the middle of the forest.

That's about the size of a doe that my younger dog killed. I hate deer. Cool to see the first few times then they destroy your yard/garden.

A gigantic picture that has a tiny deer that could fit inside a 120x120 pixel box?

Awesome. Someone owes me about 8 bucks.

And cool in the backyard I suppose. we get deer (rarely) and bears and even buffalo wandering around the neighborhoods. And smaller things like jack rabbits and Foxes..foxes? heh, that word doesnt look right to me atm, must be losing my mind.

Mmmmmm.....I love to eat deer. They're quite tasty! Seriously, they are excellent table fair. We (my sons & I) shoot 3 or 4 a year, during bow hunting season. Butcher em ourselves, and pack them into the deep freeze. But we always run out of venison before the next season comes around.

I have two dogs and the kill was a team effort The older dog, Ginger, is a chocolate lab and she chased the buck which left the doe occupied by Raisin, the younger Chesapeake Bay retriever. Anyway, Ginger came back and distracted the doe while Raisin jumped, grabbed the doe's head and snapped it's neck. I was witness to the whole thing and was shocked to say the least.

Okay, now I'll have to dig mine out ... (baby alligator under a bunch of floating leaves in the Everglades.) My wife called it the "Where's Allie" picture.

Nice pic! (And I think leaving it uncropped is a nice effect.) I suppose you could supply the crops as a "punchline" / "answer key". -- Paul

Deer will not run at you and attack you. They are much too scared of you. They are totaly non-aggresive.
