My friend gave me this old Compaq pc, it turned out ot be pentium mmx-166mhz. So i searched online and found pentium mmx 200mhz cpus for $3.99 with free shipping
I ordered 3 so that i can burn some out, make a keychain etc... The mobo does not self detect the speed of the cpu, and must be set with 2 miniature switches. I install the CPU, put mobo setting to 200mhz. Works fine. Turn off the pc, put the mobo setting to 233mhz, And its working fine.
That was the easiest OC i have ever perfomed, eventhough its only 33mhz.
