Trying to reinstall a old HDD

Hi Folks,

Im having trouble reinstalling a old HDD I used to use. Windows picked it up and I can see it in "system", but I am unable to format it or anything. System is about the only place I can see it.


It used to be in FAT 32 if I remeber correctly, and my main HD is on NTFS now. Its just a old Maxtor 20Gb.

Any suggestions?

It should work in Windows - 20GB ain't that old.

Is the drive set properly on master/slave settings? HDs should be Master.

I managed to get it working, having just discovered Disk Manager in Windows! I had to deletye the partitions, and reformat. It seems to be working fine now.
