I am looking for a nice soldering irons, with a small fine tip, not the big ugly ones sold in radio-shack or sears. Any sugestions?

they are different power, but same size tips. I need to do some precision PCB surface soldering in my Nomad 3.

Get a basic Weller adjustable solder station. Costs you maybe $30. Will last you for years. They use standard 1/4" tips, so you can get them as fine as you need.

If youre doing fine tip work, the adjustable is good since its probably pc board or mobo related. Get a cheap soldering heatsink from rad-shack, turn down the wattage of your iron (they come with 40W, but the station can take up to 300W), and youre good to go.
