the tach is pretty cool and those headphones seem cool too, if they worked (is it really 5.1 sound?) The mouse bungee would really bother me though... wouldn't it feel like someone constantly pulling on your mouse?

I can understand the uses for all those, and just because YOU don't have a use for it dosn't mean its not useful, nor does it mean its stupid.

Oh, it does though!

lol jk, I suppose.
The mousewire thing is a little trivial and could easily be fixed for free, and look better.
Smoking is bad, for you and in most cases (hehe) your computer.
Tach is just cool and could be used in many ways, the only thing is that it everyone should fold and I think that has software that goes with the CPU usage, so temp or memory usage or whatever would be better IMO.
Good idea that is almost always executed badly, weither it be because of doofy looks or just plain sucking. its possible that those are good but I would rather had a good pair of normal headphones instead.

Cigarette lighter not necessarily for smoking

I don't smoke and I use the cigarette lighter socket in my car all the time. I have a power adapter for my mp3 player that hook into a cigarette lighter. I got about 8 black lights a couple of weeks ago at Target on clearance that are car hookup and plug into a cigarette lighter socket. I made a 4 pin female molinex to cigarette lighter socket adapter to test them (this gadget would be a lot more elegant). If you have something that runs in your car and doesn't have a power brick for hooking to 110, the cigarette lighter attachment can be useful for other stuff than smoking. I don't have a cell phone, but many of the chargers have a cigarette lighter socket adapter....

Yes but your computer is not in your car. And why wouldn't you just use the house's electicity? Unless you have a bad assed PSU I would be reluctant to run a whole lot more than an MP3 player off of it. Besides I don't think I have ever seen a CD player/MP3Player that came with a car adapter and not a normal house one (or even that didn't come with a house adapter- unless it doesn't support it at all). Even if you got it used I still think it would be a better investment to get a house one from radio shack with the correct connector and DC power converter thingy.

yes, i agree that there are logical arguments for why a cigerette lighter would be useful in your computer. But it sounds as if the only arguements are "exceptions". An example is someone had mentioned that they had lost their wall charger plug for their cell phone. My response is why pay extra money for a cigerrette lighter to plug in your car charger for your phone? You could use that same money to buy yourself a new wall charger, then you would have a charger to leave in your car and a charger to leave at home.

Then there's also those cd players and mp3 players you can plug in. But your computer can already play cd's and mp3's. Why do you need a seperate cd player?

The only real practical use you can achieve from a cigerrette lighter in your computer is to plug in one of those map lights. That might come in handy.

Cell phones and cd players aren't the only things that can be plugged into cigerrette lighters though, radar detectors can also plug into them. Why would you want to plug one of those into your computer? I don't know.

Anyways, i want the surround headphones and i do like that tach thing. For a modded out computer, that tach would look nice.

The head phones are the only thing that I see any real use for, if they produce. The rest is just fluff.

I am surprised you did not post a link to the 300+ UFO cube server tehy are selling, that thing is definitely overkill, but kool nonetheless.
