i understand the a b c on intel processors...i think eg: P4 2.4c
And i'm building a new computer atm. I just want the most processing power i can get. I'm going with intel, and money is no object.
I'm looking at the 2.4c or the 2.6c, but im in belgium and alot of sites dont display the "letter" (dunno what its real name is).
So my question is... do the letters go by date? ie. we are now in the "c stage" and if i were to buy a processor now, it would be a c. Or are the letters random, like batches, where you find all sorts.
Also, i'd like to know which processor can OC further...the 2.4c or the 2.6c. I think from what i heard i can actually go further with those than with a 3.0 ghz....Also considering dual Xeon 2.4s. But undecided atm. They give more processing power than a single @ say, 3.3 yeah ?
