2.53ghx P4 vs. 1.5ghz Pentium M

Hey all,

I just ordered a Centrino Laptop from dell: Inspiron 8600

I bought it to replace my Dell 5100 P4 2.53ghz. The battery performace was just too poor.

Anyways down to my question. I want to know how my new 1.5ghz Pentium M CPU will compare with my old 2.53ghz P4.

your box should just as fast as the 2.53 but with 50-100% longer battery life.

you don't like low multipliers? AMD doesn't seem to mind them
