Very big problem with slk-800u

I installed my slk-800u on my old motherboard, now I have a new one with a new processor I am putting it on.
But the black plate's cushion that rests on the back of the motherboard seems way to big, and the screws can't reach it.

I'm using an Abit nf7-s motherboard, someone please help

did you follow thier directions?

what revision are you using? if its the 1.2 then you need customized standoffs. go to www.thermalright.com

Sounds like it may have been bent? Try to loosen the other screws just enough so you can fit the last one on.
