What do I need to add infared

I am trying to find some information about adding infared to my computer . My palm pilot can use a beam to sink with my computer, but I can't find what card I would need. Anyone know what I need?

usually an IR header on your motherboard and a receiver to plug into it. Check your motherboard manual.

you can do it the mobo header and receiver way, or you can just use this USB one instead.
