How far could an amd athlon +2400 go?

mine runs 2240 at 44c load all day long . (160x14)@ 1.7v. The chip is stable at 2420 (220x11) but it gets pretty hot with the cooling I have because it needs 1.825v to do that, and my memory isnt up to that anyway.

Mine ran solid at 2200Mhz no problem, never tried to go higher because my board limited what I could get to. Just as a side note, I always thought the XP 2400 just "felt" faster than my current Barton 2500....

mine runs 2.3Ghz with 1.75v, 2.2Ghz with 1.65v.
it seems about average for 2400+, going by the CPU database.
cooling is the stock AMD heatsink, but with a Smartfan 2 at 3000rpm.

i think my fan is about 3000-4000rpm. a thermaltake one. I just bought memory heatspreader, a vidcard ram heatsink and some thermal paste for my cpu.
