Would a 1.33ghz tbird AYHJA Y have the L1 bridges already connected?

I get nervous about taking my HSF back off to check because I don't wanna crush the core putting it back on. But will my Cpu be ulocked already? How will I know if it is?

The Level 1 Bridges unlock the Multiplier on the CPU so if you can change the multiplier, there is a good chance your CPU is unlocked although the only way to be certain is to remove the heatsink and examine the bridges.

All the L1's should be connected. Every CPU that I have seen over 1.2 has been unlocked. Why not go into the bio's and raise the Multiplier and see? Goodluck

I went into the bios and i can't change the multiplier, so i'm guessing its not unlocked. Thanks for answering my question.

wait I am pretty sure the 1.33 Axia are unlocked why aren't the AYHJA unlocked? try a lower multiplier too! I can't believe AMD reversed their decision.

My 1.333 AYHJA-"9" is factory unlocked :-)

My new HSF came in so I checked the core while it was off.

I don't like to keep taking the HSF off also.

Good Luck.

Would it be safe if I wiped off the artic silver off of the core when I take off the HSF?

ofcourse it is,it would be better to re-apply it anyway as it will already have been sqeezed out and the final movements removing the HSF will ruin the even layer, just put some more man!hehehe.
about the multiplyer, im sure that not all of em are unlocked but even to be sure in the bios make sure not to forget to set the cpu speed to "user define" before you remove your HSF[just a last check before you remove it].if you already know this, sorry,it happened to me with my 1st O'C!
