I love my Duron 750! I lowered my temps from (i have an in socket thermisititor and the temps are off by about 10C too much, I.E. 50 = 40) 59C full load, to 55C full load, and from 56C idle, to 53C idle! Now i bumped my fsb up to 160 from 159, and boom i got 958mhz @ 160fsb! Super fast and only @ 1.775v!
Only if i could get to 1ghz @ 166fsbX6. That would be quite a feat! I think now since i have lowered my temps, 1.888v and 6X166 i could finally achieve my gig! And Super speed too! Let me tell you think baby really moves. Tomorrow i get 256mb PC2100 ram. Right now my Ram is my limiting factor. 3dmark2001 quits out to the desktop @ 161fsb because my memory won't cope.
I am trying to beat the record @ madonion.com for a VooDoo3 and a Duron processor. So far my highest score has been 1798, with my duron 750 @ 954mhz 159fsb 1.775v, and my VooDoo3 @ 185. Today i will do it @ 958 160fsb 1.775v, and my VooDoo3 @ 188. The top score is 1880, with a duron @ 1016.
