Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Has anyone else downloaded this Demo? I downloaded it over at http://www.megagames.com and it frankly is boring. It has the consol syndrome button mashing side scroller. This is practically the same game we played in the arcade 10 – 15 years ago with (I forgot the name of this news style of the Viewtiful Joe genre) comic graphics. My daughter (3 years old) was cracking up the whole time and enjoyed me playing it, but for me it was extremely boring button mashing with Leonardo doing the same combos saying on of about 3 cheesy statements.

I love the Ninja Turtles when I was little and was looking forward to the game but it seemed geared for the younger players (probably around 10 years old)

My brother bought it for PS2 or gamecube, can't remember which, I guess i'll give it a try later. But I did enjoy the older version, its not turtles in time, but the previews one.

I had trouble running the demo, it ran really slow in my system which was rather upsetting as i know it should run well, however it was still somewhat fun, i wouldny buy it for pc though, its something i view as console only, my bro bought the cube version so i will give it a try on the weekend and see.

I loved the older ones for NES, but this one is getting bad reviews. I may have to get the demo or rent it to see if it's any good.

I have to say that i actually enjoyed the cube version, the ability to unlock new moves and strengths was neat, and you get a second player in on the action and it gets real fun, the cell shading got to me after a while however, it feels to anime for me to play for hours on end, after a break every now and then it was still fun. Only problem no four player coop, they could support it, it would have made the game amazing instead of cool.

well, i guess i should have told you all wut i thought a month ago when i tried it.. yah, it sux. i found that all you have to do is tap the attack button and hold differtnt direction,s and you win. i did this on the demo, and the xbox version. gets reall old after about 5 levels. i swear to god, all i did was tap the one attack button for the whole time i played and used the directional pad to sort of steer my mindless a$$-kicking turtle in the direction i wanted to go. i almost never got hit, and died only once. lamest turtle game ever. jsut goes to show that pretty grafix do not a good game make

i played the gamecube version and i wasnt impressed at all, seemed very simplistic, easy and boring...

I enjoyed the pc demo.

Button smasher?... Yes. Who do you think TMNT is targeted at? Little kids that watch afternoon and saturday morning cartoons. Why would you expect a game that is difficult?

I'm old school. I remember playing the original TMNT on the NES. Hours on end until I beat it. One thing I don't understand though, how did I have the patience to start over and over and over after every game over? The game was long......no save, no codes..... crazy.

Turning off voices does not work on the PS2 version. Camera angles in the game can be real annoying especially in 2 player mode.

Something about this game that isn't the snes or genny version. I think the 2nd TMNT on NES was more fun even though all turtles had the same move save for a different special attack.
