Topic. I can't decide between buying the a7n8x or the nf7 or the nf7-s. Which one overclocks best for its cost?

NF7 is the best overclocker for the price. NF7-S is 2nd and the A7N8X is 3rd. Make sure to get a version 2.0 board. The NF7 and NF7-S O/C the same; the NF7-S just has more features and so it costs more.

where would i find a guarenteed revision 2 nf7? I could buy it from newegg, but i dunno if its rev 2

NewEgg is selling the version 2.0 so you can't go wrong buying from them.
