Is it possible to set up the A7N8X rev2 DX (or the Abit NF7S for that matter) so that it boots off a single (maybe IDE) drive and uses raid 0 for the main (sata?) data drives? My thinking here is that I do some heavy I/O stuff involving gigabytes of Wav and MPG files and compression/expansion so I want that on Raid 0. But Raid 0 is twice as likely to lose all the data as a single drive and I can likely get those data files again without too much hassle.

Putting the OS back together again is much more of a problem so maybe to keep it simple I should just use a single 40gig or so drive as the main boot. It will boot slower that way but that really isn't so important to me.

I can even run pide devices on sata with the adapter, right?
