Need Mobo advice!

Friend just gave me his 1ghz PIII (how nice)

SOOO

i want to fold with it and was wondering if u guys got any good names of some stable, cheap motherboards i could look into to set this thing up for some 24/7 folding.

The second mother board on that page, the MSI one got really good user reviews though i couldnt find a review of it on anandtech, is $56 bucks too much for a p3 mobo?

You can find refurbs or used for cheaper than that. I have a layer in my farm on a MSI mobo that is socket A and only cost $37 shipped so I know you can find a P3 mobo cheaper than that. Let me look around and post some links....


How about finding another CPU and getting this board.

gaaah only 9 hours to make up my mind, hate that. good idea though, how often do these duelies show up on ebay?

I've never looked for P3 stuff, I'm an AMD type of guy so I really don't know how often they are there but probably all the time.
