DDR400 ECC turning ECC off good overclockers ?

I am wondering.
I've been told the DDR400 ECC memory are of higher quality than regular DDR400 other than just the ECC error correction capability they are better quality PCB and chips.

Has anyone tried buying DDR400 ECC memory and turning off ECC or just puting it in a regular 865PE motherboard and overclocking it ?

ECC sticks are usually expensive. "High quality" is rather due to ECC, not timings, so I'd rather go for BH-5 if I had to choose.

I heard BH-5 don't like the 865pe chipset so much.

Can't you disable ECC i mean and overclock em.

he's not talking timings..

I'm not sure though about the "quality" of the chips though, probably not..just fancier.
