hey all... i have a lexmark x75 (holds a color and a black cartridge) and i was wondering if i can set it up to print anything that's black with the black (cartridge) in stead of using the color cartridge, while still printing the color images in color?
i've been going through the settings and can't find much...

thanks,
maiof

Usally in the printer settings there is somthing like "grey scale" or "black and white" Keep looking you will find em' :)

well... my wife uses some greeting card maker program and it uses the color cartridge for black type..
anywho..... i was wondering if i can get it to print the images in color, and the text with the black ink cartridge....

thanks,
maiof

I was also going to say in the properties menu, there shoul be an option to print in "Grey Scale" or black and white.

If not, you could call up thier customer service and ask them usually.
