what is something not much more expensive than this that could play those games, on low settings cause i doubt i buy those, but i might get halo so something that works with that too

you can get a geforce fx 5200 card for cheeper and its a dx9 card. You can get the 256mb version for around the same price or the ultra version for like $113 i think it was. Or a 5600 for 110. This will play the games you want and do them well.

Altho most of the t14200 cards will oc to 4600 speeds and run well, they are dx8 cards so you wont be playing the newer dx9 games.

Don't get a 5200 POS card. Get Ti4200 unless you want to step up to a 9600 or 9500 or higher

You can still play them, you just wont be able to use the new features

The Ti4200 is the perfect card for your budget

lol the ti4200 is much faster than a 5200  and the 256meg on the fx5200 wont make any difference as most games dont need that much also the ram is slower on the 256meg cards

Do not buy anything that is not DX9
Anything with 256 megs of ram is usually because it is carp ram
There is nothing wrong with a 5200

spring for a 9600pro for $150 if you can, if not i second the r8500/r8500le/r9100/ti4200 but they aren't huge upgrades to you mx440, best is to hold out until prices fall when the next cards come out
