Vid Card causing instabality?

ok so i had my old original radeon in my system and all of a sudden i am getting random reboots. When it restarts it says system was shutdown due to hardware device and it said something bout hardware device that caused the problem was the radeon 7200. I pulled it out and so far running toast my system is running fine and stable. Has anyone ever heard of a video card causing random reboots. I also did a reformat just to make sure it wasnt drivers confliciting with other drivers.

Thanks,

matt

System Specs.
xp1700 not overclocked
640 mb of mixed ram
60 gig wd hd

I've seen this with the Radeon 9xxx cards if not enough power was being provided by the Molex to the card, in your case you don't need to attach a molex to the card so perhaps the card may be getting old and Ill?

I had this problem with my old MX400 before it totally gave out on me. I guess now would be a good time to look into an upgrade...
