I gotta laptop and the hdd s.m.a.r.t. feature is causing problems.
OK the disk works, but the smart system won't let it boot properly or install a new os or anything as it's messing wht the 'arc'-ing of the drives when the machine boots.
I want to turn off the smart but the bios doesn't have a switch available. Any ideas?
If you need to know, its a Sony vaio pcg-sr21k with 128mb, 10gb.
