p4c800-e ram?

p4c800-e ram?


im running a p4c800-e with a 2.4c and all a very good rig but my ram i whent to asus.com and i found there recomendations for ddr400 so i got the best samsung stuff on there because they recomended mostly samsung it was about 250$ canadian but in the futer do i want this kingston hyper X or what whats best for this board?

I wouldn't recommend Corsair PC3200 as it uses inferior Winbond CH-5 chips, and, as such, costs more then it should.

Anything using Winbond BH-5 would be great for overclocking. Check the sticky, then pick the one that fits your price range.

I have the same board and have a gig of Corsair 3500C2. It has the BH-5 chip. So that's what I'd reccomend to you.

last month or the month before i was reading my max pc book and they tested like 6 tieps of ddr400 and corsair rated there ram at 500mhz and it whent 502mhz while the hyper x was rated at 500mhz and it whent 526mhz (all eror free speeds) and whats the big deal with corsair why do ppl always like ther ram?
