I read the sticky on how brand is more important than peak wattage but...

I want to know if the antec true 380 psu that comes in the sonata would be enough to power the following:

2x 36GB WD Raptor 10k RPM
1x 80GB 7200RPM
2x CD/DVD Burner
9600XT
2.6 cpu oc'ed @ 3.6

and a neon budweiser sign! (j/k)

I know it seems like a lot but do you think i could make it?
If not could you recommend a PSU?

Thanks.

It may be enough, but it would be right on the edge... a 430w or better Truepower, or the Fortron 530 would be a better choice.

I just really wanted something quiet, but i guess since im getting dual raptors that wouldnt matter anyway.

whynto wait till the single 76 raptor comes out? when everthat is - it has better performance then the 36g's i beleive.

There is plenty of ways to build a silent rig without getting a sonata. Thats how Antec markets the case, but the slk3700 for instance has the same features as the sonata as far as silence goes, and they don't market that for a silent pc. Just pick a case with good airflow and get some nice low speed fans and you are good to go ;)

I assume that I should be looking at a new PSU as well. I have

2 x WD 120
1 x IBM 80
1 x WD 30
1 x LG DVD/CD-RW
Radeon 9600XT
P4 2.4C O/C 3 ghz
SB Live 5.1 or something like that
and the lights and fans that come with the sonata.

and all that's running on a 380 W
