geforce 2 gts

my dad donwloaded the latest driver for a geforce 2 gts. he is running window 2000 pro. the driver installed and he restarted the PC when prompted. upon doing so the oc restarted and stopped recognizing any hard drives. it does see the floppy and cd-rom. the bios does not recognize the drives at all. any suggestions or Ideas. i was not sure what froum to ask this under but since it happened after the driver install/reboot i thought i would as here.

Need more info on the system (mobo, bios rev., cpu, memory) but did he download the correct driver? And which driver?

thx for the reply. we got it figured out. he pulled and reseated that cable on the board and now it is working. just a coincidence i guess.
