just got a ic7-max 4 and a radeon 9800xt made by hercules

I never overclocked the card once but now every since i overclocked my new 3.0c i get blocks and artifacts in my bios and games. it gets worse in games. I believe the card is dying.

I always used a fixed pci bus and agp in the bios.
I dont get it i thought these radeon cards were built tough.
Is it because my computer was overclocked to 3500mhz?

i am using watercooling and my computer was 100 percent stable in prime 95.
I dont get it
please help

reformated hdd
reinstalled os
used cat 3.9

the 9800xt could get real hot....
so I'm wondering about your case cooling.

I would also try the cat3.7 drivers....I've never had any problems with them.

The case was about 32c but it doesnt matter since the card wasnt overclocked.

Do you think the dam card is a dud?
i heard the heatsink could not be seated right
