HTPC possibility?

I was given a dual slot1 board with PIII 450s and was wonder if this setup would do well as an HTPC.

Outta curiosity, could you explain what a HTPC is? (For those of us who are un-enlightened)

Home Theatre PC. Basically a very nice dvd/media player. My friend who is big in Home Theatre stuff has a nice one with an HDTV card and it runs through his projector. Watching the Super Bowl on a 9 foot screen in high definition was freakin awesome. With software you can basically have the pc emulate hardware that costs several thousands of dollars.
