I've had stealth drives for a fairly long time, and I have wanted an easier way to open them for awhile now. After looking around a bit, I've decided to solder wires leading from the opening/closing circuit in the drives to either a single 3-way switch, or two 2-way switches. Does anyone know of a site that would sell a 3-way switch that would fit the needs of this project?

I used a momentary pushbutton (normally open, SPST) on my drives. I piggy-backed the wires for the pushbutton to the back of the onboard switch so both will work.

I get most of my stuff from partsexpress.com. They have a good selection and fast shipping. I have 3 of these (2 for drives, 1 for power) mounted under the front of my case.

I would recommend that you just add some sort of spacer in front of your drive button so you can press on your bay cover and open your drive. Check this out for more info: http://www.overclockers.com/tips1119/index05.asp

Yeah, I've tried that method before, along with the programs, and I was never really impressed with the results. Plus, it makes my case somewhat unique. :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys
