I got everything all pluged in, but when i boot, it first doesnt detect the hard drives, then it stops at teh RAID configuration spot (where you hit F4 or Ctrl+S). Even if i plug one sata in along with my 80 IDE, it stil freezes at that spot. Ive read that you have to turn on SATA in the bios, i cant find that for crap, where is it? (I have Phoenix w/e bios) Thanks for any help. Oh yeah, ive used 3 different pairs of sata cables, in all 4 sata slots on the mobo.

Have you tried it w/o anything on the sata?
I dont know if there are jumpers for sata, if there are check them.
If the SATA is trying to load I would assume it is enabled.
Can or have you tried another HD?

you do need to find it in the bios and enable SATA RAID. it should be in there somewhere, just look around

On my board the SATA has its own BIOS, it loaded at the point where it asks to press keys to setup and would display the dirves
