anybody familiar with exim?

anybody familiar with exim?


how do you go about creating a noreply email address? that would receive mail but send it to /dev/null? would the normal adduser and and change the home directory to /dev/null do the job?

edit: I did the adduser, then modified the passwd file to point to /dev/null, and then modified the shadow file to disable shell login :!:. and it seems to be working, I can send mail to that and see the log as in incoming but went nowhere.

A more secure way of doing it is to just edit your /etc/aliases file, add a line like
crapmail: /dev/null
